our story

Silver leaf, old city, new heirlooms

Warq takes its name from the whisper-thin leaf of silver that Jaipur's artisans have hammered by hand for three centuries. It is a craft of patience — and patience is what we build into every piece.

We began in a single workshop off Johari Bazaar, working with families who have set polki for generations. Today every Warq design still starts there: a sketch, a stone, and a karigar's steady hand.

Warq artisan jewellery
every piece a story

“We don't make jewellery for a season. We make the piece your daughter will argue over.”

Jaipur craft

How a Warq piece is made

01
Drawn by hand
Every design begins as a pencil sketch, sized against the stones we've sourced — never the other way around.
02
Set the old way
Polki is foil-set in 92.5 silver by karigars whose families have done this work for generations. One setter, one piece, start to finish.
03
Hallmarked & finished
Each piece is hallmarked, polished, and checked against the original sketch before it leaves the workshop.
